What changes if you switch
Rewind was a search box for your past. Cachejay is more like a colleague who was in the room and wrote things down. If what you miss is “find that thing I saw last week”, ask Claude and it does the searching.
Cachejay doesn't keep pictures of your screen, so you can't scrub back through what something looked like. If you need that, Screenpipe is a better fit.
