The product
What is Cachejay?
A Mac app that keeps notes on your workday, sorted by project, and lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Codex read them.
Is it a project management tool?
Sort of. It keeps a page per project and a to-do list, but nobody has to update it.
Can ChatGPT or Claude update my CRM or project tools with it?
Yes, through their own connectors for tools like HubSpot, Linear or Jira. Cachejay never writes to those tools itself. How it works.
Is Cachejay a Rewind alternative?
Yes. Rewind stopped capturing on December 19, 2025, after Meta bought Limitless. Comparison.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple silicon on macOS 26 or later.
Is there a Windows version?
No. It leans on parts of macOS that Windows doesn’t have.
ChatGPT, Claude and the rest
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. Add a custom connector with the URL https://cachejay.com/mcp and sign in with your Cachejay email. Details.
Does it work with Claude?
Yes. Claude Code and Claude Desktop connect in one click, and Claude on your phone uses the same connector as ChatGPT. Details.
Does it work with Cursor and Codex?
Yes, both over MCP, and they share the same memory.
Can a web page trick an agent through Cachejay?
Everything Cachejay returns is marked untrusted, so agents treat it as text to read, not instructions.
Privacy
Does Cachejay record my screen?
No. It reads the text apps expose through the Accessibility API. No screenshots, no video.
Does a bot join my calls?
No. Calls are transcribed on your Mac from its audio. The audio isn’t kept.
Where is my data kept?
Captured on your Mac, kept in your private cloud space so ChatGPT and Claude can use it from any device. Passwords and keys are masked first. You can keep everything on the Mac instead, or delete the cloud copy any time. Privacy.
What does it never read?
Password managers, Keychain Access, private and incognito windows, password fields, and any app you exclude.
How much disk does it use?
Not much. It keeps text only, and thins old detail while keeping the summaries.
Pricing
How do I sign in?

How much is it?
$12 a month or $120 a year after a 14-day trial with no card. AI included.
What happens when the trial ends?
It stops recording until you subscribe. If you don’t, what’s in the cloud is deleted after 60 days.
