Gemini knows the web. Cachejay knows what you did today: your calls, your projects and what you said you’d do. Connect the Gemini app with a link, and Gemini CLI or Antigravity in one click.
The Gemini app (web, Mac and phone)
Get a code
In the Cachejay menu, choose Connect AI Apps › Gemini App… (it’s also in the first-run setup). Gemini opens and the URL is copied.
Add a custom app
In Gemini, open Settings › Connected Apps, choose Add a custom app under Custom apps, and paste https://cachejay.com/mcp.
Sign in
When it asks you to sign in to Cachejay, type the code from the menu, or your email and the code we send you.
Ask something
Type @Cachejay and ask “what did I agree to on calls this week?”
Google allows custom apps on personal Google accounts (not work or school ones), in the US, in English, with Keep Activity on.
Gemini CLI and Antigravity (on your Mac)
One click
Choose Connect AI Apps › Gemini CLI / Antigravity in the Cachejay menu, or tick it during setup.
Restart it
Open agy (or Gemini CLI) again and type /mcp: Cachejay is in the list.
Ask something
“Use Cachejay: where did I leave off on this project?”
Cachejay is added to ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, which Antigravity CLI and the Antigravity app read, and to ~/.gemini/settings.json for Gemini CLI. On the Mac it also gets your screen right now and your files.

Does Cachejay work with the Gemini app?
Yes. Add it as a custom app in Gemini’s Settings › Connected Apps with the URL https://cachejay.com/mcp, and sign in with your Cachejay email. It then works in Gemini on the web, on your Mac and on your phone.
I can’t find Connected Apps or Add a custom app.
Google allows custom apps on personal Google accounts only, not work or school ones, for people 18 or older in the US using Gemini in English, with Keep Activity on. If any of those don’t apply, the option isn’t shown.
Does it work with Gemini CLI?
Gemini CLI was replaced by Antigravity CLI (agy) in June 2026. Connect AI Apps › Gemini CLI / Antigravity in the Cachejay menu adds Cachejay to both, and to the Antigravity app, in one click. Restart them afterwards.
Gemini CLI / Antigravity says it isn’t installed.
Choose it in the menu and Cachejay shows the install command (curl -fsSL https://antigravity.google/cli/install.sh | bash). Run it in Terminal, run agy once to sign in, then choose it in the menu again.
How do I disconnect Gemini?
For the app: remove Cachejay under Connected Apps, or choose Connect AI Apps › Disconnect All Phone and Web Apps in the menu bar. For the CLI: cachejay disconnect gemini, or Disconnect & Remove Cachejay… in Settings.
