Notion + Cachejay

Update Notion with Claude or ChatGPT, from what you actually did

The Notion page for every project is always a week behind. Cachejay has the week, so Claude can catch it up.

Set it up

  1. Connect Notion in your AI app. Notion is in Claude’s connector directory. ChatGPT’s Notion app can write, where your plan supports it.
  2. Connect Cachejay: on your Mac from the menu bar (Connect AI Apps), or in ChatGPT and Claude on the web and your phone with a connector at cachejay.com/mcp.
  3. Ask. Start with a draft if it’s going somewhere other people will read.

Connector availability and actions depend on your Claude or ChatGPT plan and change often. Checked October 2026.

Questions

Does Cachejay connect to Notion?

No. Cachejay never connects to it itself; your AI app does, with the permissions you give it.

Can I just open my notes in Notion?

Cachejay’s Library is plain Markdown in ~/Cachejay, so you can also import files yourself.

Will it overwrite what I wrote?

Ask Claude to add a section rather than replace the page, and review it before saving.
